Websites and social media offer you the chance to find testimonials and examples of previous wedding videos. Like anything else, the more you see, the more you'll discover what you like. You may find that you prefer the more cinematic, elegant styling over a more rustic feel, for example. 

Understanding Your Intentions

When you're looking at videographers, ask yourself, 'why do I want my wedding filmed?' 

Do you want to relive your vows? Do you want to see the moments you missed? Do you want something to share with your loved ones who couldn't make the day?

Once you have your answer - and it could be one or all of the above - you will understand what you need and can communicate this to your potential videographers. If you want something shareable, then a shorter film of up to five minutes is ideal for social media. If you want every moment captured, look for a documentary-style film.
